About
I’m David Waschk, a self-employed media designer and illustrator from Helmstedt, Germany.
Born in 1984 and still based in my hometown, I have been working in digital and print design since 2011, focusing on concept development, visualization, and creative design.
While illustration has always been a personal passion, I only started sharing my work publicly in 2023. Since then, I’ve been creating artwork inspired by everything from fantasy and horror to surrealism, folklore, science fiction, and classic metal aesthetics.
My influences include Hokusai, René Magritte, M.C. Escher, H.P. Lovecraft, and Studio Ghibli, though I generally prefer exploring ideas over sticking to a particular style. If something sparks my imagination, chances are I’ll end up drawing it.
